four springtime beauty treatments to take home

Time for spring cleaning, but this time we're getting our bodies up to scratch! Here you will learn about four self-made beauty treatments - and how you can use them at home.

Moist meadows, sun-drenched landscapes, blue skies, and fresh, blooming flowers - spring brings us more energy than any other season. It is how you feel after the long, cold winter so that you would feel new life again. But the era of dry skin, chapped lips, and frizzy curls take its toll. That is why we have put calm our best, natural beauty treatments for you to do yourself for holistic physical renewal in spring.

Get your radiance back

It's time to shed your (literally) wintry skin. Homemade exfoliators can effectively remove prominent dry flakes that inevitably develop in the frosty months and give you a fresh, look.

And that is how it works:

·        For a honeyed smooth body, mix three tablespoons of unrefined coconut oil with half a cup of sugar.

·        Apply the mixture to the body in the shower by rubbing it firmly into the skin with your hands.

·        Rinse with warm water.

Make your hair happy

Your hair is most likely the worst casualty of the cold season - after all, it has been exposed to harsh conditions for months and is therefore dry and in poor condition. Forget masks from the shops and create your hair care product to give your hair a new shine in time for spring.

An overlooked hair freshener is the good old egg yolk: rich in fats and proteins to breathe new life into your hair.

And that is how it works:

·        Mix half of an avocado and an egg yolk in a blender and mix well.

·        Apply the mixture to your hair in the shower, starting at the ends of your hair and working your method up to the hairline.

·        Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave the mixture on for 15-20 minutes so that you can thoroughly enjoy the benefits of the ingredients (by the way, now would be the right time to apply your homemade scrub !!)

·        Rinse off and then use shampoo and care products.

Say goodbye to dry feet

The rubber boots are carefully stowed in the closet, and the sandals are slowly but still dusted. As soon as you have taken off your warm socks and take a closer look at your bare feet, you will quickly notice that they have lost their original, flawless appearance and therefore urgently need to be pampered.

And that is how it works:

·        Soak your feet in whole-hearted water first to make the skin nice and soft. For a soothing treatment, add some Epsom salt and a few lavender essential oil drops.

·        As soon as your feet are clean and dry, give them some moisture with simple, homemade foot creams and apply them generously on the sandpaper-like areas (usually heels and sols). At Everyday Roots, you will find a super easy recipe to make yourself with milk, honey, and orange juice - and if you have someone to massage your feet with it - all the better.

Boost body cleansing

If you think of getting a home beauty restoration product, it should be a dry brush. These soft and hard breasts are ideal for cleansing the skin and leading to a fresh, spring-like look: They remove dead skin cells, reduce cellulite, stimulate the lymph nodes, promote digestion and circulation and support the body in its natural cleansing process.

And that is how it works:

Use a dry brush and brush, starting from your feet up to your heart. Make firm, small "blows" with the meeting (be gentle, you don't want to damage your skin) or move the discussion in circular motions.

Use at least 3 to 5 minutes a day to brush your skin. The morning is the best time to do this, as this treatment gives you energy for the rest of the day, perks you up, and puts a healthy glow on your face.
